Weekend in Dallas

After 20 years, we are still friends!  Crazy, eh?  So, yes- we went to Dallas to visit with our friends for the weekend.  The kids all loved the playtime, the mommies loved the chatting time, and Jeremy even got to do some male bonding!

We got in late on Friday night and chatted until even later :)  On Saturday morning the boys went to help someone move all morning while Sharon and I had a leisurely morning making and eating breakfast (with lots of help from the girls) and letting the kids play.

When the boys got back they moved on to manly project #2- the fence :)

The kids wanted to go outside too, so we set up the sprinkler and let them go to town.

And, being hot and being daddies, the kiddo's got a good demo on how sprinkler hopping is really done.

Just like daddy...almost :)

Eve needed a little more help, but enjoyed her jump none the less!

After not-too-long, it was time to dry up and take naps before an exciting night out at....

Chuck E Cheese!  (please pay no attention to the mommy who did not get ready to go out...)

The kids all had a blast playing all the games!

And climbing on everything!

Even the daddies got to play a round or two of air hockey :)

Sunday after church there was a little time left for playing and one last super yummy meal before heading home.

We had a SUPER fun time visiting with our friends, and can't wait to do it again!
Thanks again for the incredible hospitality and the much needed R&R!
