Our Valentine's Day

Ah, boys and their toys.... except this one is grandma's?!?!

Nathan's eyes lit up when we saw them walk in with her newest ... a scarry looking pellet gun.

The boys had fun shooting it out the back door at empty plastic soda bottles :)

But wait, we were going to talk about Valentine's!

Earlier in the week we made these bags as an FHE activity in preparation for the day of love!

Then on Wednesday the kids had their Valentine parties at school :)

All the kindergartners made these cute bags to collect their loot in.

I was popping back and forth between the 2 kiddos' classes.

Here he is playing Valentine BINGO next to his very best friend in school, Sara Jane.

Later, the pre-schoolers combined with both kindergarten classes to do some music time!

Look who all sat together :)

(Oh, and in case you are wondering... Hannah's class wanted to do a PJ day, so she is supposed to be in jammies!)

Here is what Hannah handed out to her friends (she put on the googly eyes and stickers with her name on them after stuffing each bag with smarties).

Here's a little peak at how Hannah's preschool music time went!

Nathan and I made little TNT bombs out of Rolos for his classmates.
I think they turned out pretty cute :)

The kids both got Fun Dip in their goodie stash, and had great fun changing the color of their tongues :)

That evening we took some time to make a whole bunch of hearts for daddy!

Nathan composed and wrote all of his own hearts!

On Saturday morning we all snuck down to dad's den and heart attacked it!

Levi's contribution was to not tear down the hearts as we put them up :)

That morning our family exchange bags were also filled!

Jeremy got me a lovely bouquet of flowers! (they didn't fit in my bag, so we had to set them to the side.. hehehe)

And that night we went out to Texas Roadhouse for a steak dinner!

We also took a trip over to See's and somehow wound up with His and Hers 1 lb boxes of hand picked chocolates!

We also got a Valentine package from Grandma Sweetheart and Grandpa Ard!

The kids all got very special cards and they got to share/scarf a bag of hugs!

Thanks grandpa and grandma!
