Flashback to summer!!! So, end of July/beginning of Aug we drove down to Lubbock to visit our wonderful friends, the Smiths. Now that they are only 8 hours away it seemed like a great idea to take a day and celebrate our birthdays together before the craziness of August hit.
The kids were in LOVE with their inflatable pool!
And they learned what fun a wet trampoline can be!
They also took us to their favorite parks!
One even had ducks!
We were trying to decide on a flavor of "Puppy Chow"- or chex mix- and couldn't decide... so we made 4 flavors! So yummy!
This other park had a huge wooden play structure with tunnels and rooms etc...made for GREAT hide and seek!
Nathan even met a friend who shared his binoculars :)

I didn't take too many pictures because I spent most of the time enjoying seeing our dear friends, and especially Sharon! We sure love you guys, and hope to some again very soon!
