I got to go to the kids' field day, and this year it was SUPER awesome! It was held at the MAC center in Castle Rock and they got to do all kinds of fun activities, both indoor and out.
They got to play soccer,
And go up the incline. Nathan's group got to come down the hiking trail next to the incline (set of 200 stairs) and he and his buddies had a race down! Where do they get all this energy???
They played at the outside park for a bit and this slide was the place to be!
How many kindergartners can you fit on one slide?
Here's Hannah's group on the incline.
Look at the optimism, and all those stairs!
We made it!
Nathan's group also got to swim (kindergartners did not).
The littler kiddos got to do art time instead!
The pool had these floating resin things to climb on, and king of the beaver was quickly the game of choice!
Great painting, Hannah!
And last but not least- all the typical field games!
Stilt races,
scooter races,
and the all-time favorite: parachute games!
The kids had an absolute blast, and it was super fun to get to be there for their field day!
Here's a short video compilation of some of the activities:
Enjoy!
