As per tradition, we made our annual trip up to the Rock Creek Farm to pick our pumpkins!
We went pretty early this year to make sure we got really good ones, which was both good and bad.
As you can see... we did find several radioactive;y enormous pumpkins!
Dallin really enjoyed getting to see and touch everything this year!
Levi picked a surprisingly small pumpkin, but it was surely his choice. We placed it next to at least a dozen larger ones and he always went back to his original pick :) Funny little guy.
Hannah was literally running all over the pumpkin patch. The one time I could get her to hold still she was super flushed... but I'll take what I can get and was glad to see her enjoying the experience!
Kylie, on the other hand, was happy to sit and pose for me all day like the diva that she is :)
Nathan took it upon himself to guard our gathering of favorites while we made the trek back to the car with our selections. They were such big pumpkins that we could fit 2 max in the wagon each time!
If you know how big Jeremy's head is, you can see comparatively how giant that pumpkin is :)
Once the wagon had served its purpose of getting oversized pumpkins from the field to the car it was re-purposed into a containment unit for Dallin and Kayla (who you may notice have been eating white powdered donuts!)
Hannah took it upon herself to guard and distribute said goodies, and of course had Tori as her faithful sidekick.
Rasy made us all look bad by running the wagon back and forth, smiling, in heels!
Once again playing the amazing Asian girl card...
Weeeee!
Here we are back at the car, safe and sound... Dallin still looking more sugary than not, but happy!
The wagon rides became a hit with all the kids!
Except Dallin, who opted for watching from the sidelines where grandma was busting out the chocolate donuts!
Go Rasy! Go!
Once Rasy got tired the dynamic Hannah-Tori duo decided to try and take over :)
Once all the final selections had been made and everything was properly re-loaded into the cars around the monstrous pumpkins, we made our stop by the hay maze and animals before heading home.
Everybody loves playing on and in the hay bale maze!
Nathan's favorite is to play tag along the tops, and hop across the gaps!
On to see the animals!
There's my 4 favorite munchkins in the world!
Happy pumpkin picking day!!!!
