We went to a couple of these events with Nathan when he was super into trains, and now we have 2 more boys who love trains! So, when Day Out With Thomas came to town we had to go!
AND, this time we brought cousins!
The kids each got a little paper passport with a place to get a stamp at every station on display. So, we tried to hit them all! This is storytime!
We packed lunches and found a nice picnic area to play and eat at when we needed to re-fuel!
Grandma Baldwin ended up tracing the kids in chalk (at their request) so our picnic spot looked like a crime scene by the time we left!
And our ride on Thomas was for sure a highlight!

When the weather got sketchy we stopped at the magic show (in a tent!)
And in the play area tent
..which also had legos this year!
And when the sun was back out we went to see the petting zoo!
This rather large tortoise was a hit with all the kids.
And last but not least...the tatoo car. Arms out everyone!
