Okay, so after an embarassingly long hiatus, I am determined to catch up on my blog!
So...bear with me while I go back ove a year ago to September 2018 and bring things up to date.
We took one of the best family weekend getaways ever to the new Great Wolf Lodge in Colorado Springs. The kids spent almost six months earning it through a point reward system and were so excited when we finally arrived!
Upon check in the kids all got their wolf ears, which they proudly wear even today.
We even got the family suite with a separate cabin room attached for the kids!
Our first afternoon there we did the MagicQuest adventures, which were really fun! You have to buy a special wand, but it is hours of fun for everyone!
Hannah had selected a trip to the candy store as her special add-on this trip!
At bedtime they have large animated animals that tell a bedtime story.
The next morning we started the day off right with donuts!
(Techincally we bought up a bunch for super cheap the night before as the in-hotel donut shop was closing up...but all good just the same!)
We wrapped up our magicquest adventure at the start of our day with a tough troll slaying task..it took an expert daddy for us to pass!
But all the kids got an official certificate of completion for their quest as well as a master Magi button!
They were officially hailed as Master Magi in the "towne center".
We ran into the lodge mascon near the mini golf area and snagged some hugs and a picture!
The rest of our day up to the final hours were spent in the huge indoor water park. It was totally worth all the hype!
Around dinner time we stepped out for a bite to eat and some arcade time :)
Before we knew it we were on the road home with 4 VERY tuckered kiddos!
Since I am so behind, I am going to post the video that google made for me with the clips on my phone :) It gives you a pretty good idea of the fun we had...and is already made...so yay!
