So, the Wednesday after returning from 2 weeks of vacationing around was the Cub Scout Raingutter Regatta!
Nathan and Jeremy took a couple evenings to work on his boat and by golly we made it!
Here's a look at the line up:
Being as cub scouts is winding down to it's end for the LDS boys, we invited all the boys who would be turning 8 before the end of the year.
For most participants it would be both their first and last raingutter regatta!
Ok, warm up those pipes!
Ready, set, BLOW!
Here is Nathan with his best friend, Cooper (who is not standing on anything- he is only a few weeks YOUNGER than Nathan and looks like a giant next to him! They are quite the dynamic duo!)
See- proof here that Cooper is taller than all the other boys!
When the boys were done, before we cleaned up everything the dads decided they wanted a go at it!
Go honey!
Let's see if Nathan got his stong lungs form his daddy...?
It was a fun evening, and the last official cub scout event besides a couple more pack meetings- so a little bit bittersweet. Nathan was a great sport and enjoyed the races despite not getting a trophy.
He's always a winner in my book!
