This year we kept our Father's Day tradition and launched rockets at the park, followed by a BBQ, but this year it was hosted in Castle Rock :)
Look at those kids so happy to be spending the day with dad, and dad so happy to get to play on his day!
Ah, there's Levi!
So fun to see everyone participate in the fun of aiming, launching and chasing the rockets!
Check out Jamie looking so fancy with her Taylor Swift lip color :)
It was super hot and sunny, so we all needed lots of water to keep us cool.
Even Rasy's mom launched a rocket!
But she let the kids chase it down for her :)
Ken sat in the shade, content to hold Kayla.
But there were enough grandkids to keep all the laps in the shade full.
Look at that handsome hunk!
Happy Father's Day to the best dad in the world!
Quick picture of the Williamson family before they had to take off!
Lookin' good!!!
Jamie left her mark on Dad after saying goodbye!
He proudly sported it the rest of the day :)
After the rockets the boys brought out the plane!
Look at that face!
You can tell by Hannah's face that it was nice and hot!
Hannah got Jeremy a quadcopter for Father's Day, !which he LOVED and has been enjoying ever since. Turns out it is a really great one and Uncle Jason was maybe a teeny bit jealous!\
Levi had a great time playing catch with Jason.
And Hannah was content to be daddy's wing man while flying his new toy.
Kayla fell asleep in the shade.
And Teddy and Patch stood guard of their new baby :)
Back at Jason's house Jeremy swooped in and stole Kayla before they could put her down.
This guy is so baby hungry! Good thing we have one coming in just a few days :)
And he's not the only one who is ready for a little person... Hannah LOVES baby Kayla!
After a yummy BBQ the boys took their drones out back for a little bit more fly time.
The kids, who cooled off running in the sprinklers, loved watching and chasing the drones.
They played all sorts of yard games with each other, grandpa, Jason and Dad.
While the mommies all sat in the shade and supervised!
The boys got Jeremy a couple of new games to play.
Nathan got him Dixit, which is like a mix of two of our other favorite games: Wits and Wagers and Apples to Apples. And Levi got him Code Names, a fun word board game.
Love you daddy!
Then, while we were playing Dixit on the back patio, out of nowhere this hail storm broke out!
Yep, a super hot and sunny day all of the sudden produced ping pong ball sized hail!
Jeremy went out to grab some, and the kids followed- but they soon realized why dad had an umbrella! Hail hurts!
Nathan's favorite part was that amid the storm was a rainbow :)
Levi decided to dart out and grab more ice balls, but came back in tears crying that the storm "bit" him. When will he learn to listen when mom says to stay here...?
The storm passed just as quickly as it came up, and then the mature adults had an ice fight!
The kids picked up on this fun pretty quickly... but took Rasy's side!
It was another great day, and full of fun and rest for all the daddies.
I am especially grateful for such a loving and devoted father for my kiddos, and couldn't ask for a better man to celebrate on this day!
