November was Spirit month at Cloverleaf, and the best day by far was crazy hair and sock day!
Here are my awesome munchkins all ready for a great day at school :)
Only s few days later the snow started!
Dallin's first taste of snow was in the Costco parking lot, and he was rather confused :)
But Levi was excited!
The arrival of the snow was bitter-sweet. On the one side, it came just in time to make a mess of the roads while the Smiths were driving into town... making for a 3 hour delay in their arrival. Coincidentally, Jamie also rolled her car that night on her way to school!
On the sweeter side, everyone came away unharmed, the kids got to play in the snow the next morning, and it finally started to feel like Christmas time around here!
Here are a few of the pics from the sledding action in our back yard:
Oh, wait for Levi!
BFFs!
Awwwww. What cuties!
Snow angel!
Meanwhile I took the opportunity to take pictures of the 4 gorgeous Smith girls!
And, of course we had to have nice tall mugs of hot coco to top off the morning!
The real reason the Smiths came into town was for Evan's wedding, which was the next day!
Since I was the photographer I have far more pictures of that event than I will post here, but it was fun to see all the Larsen clan again!
Congrats to the happy couple!
Sharon and Kelly were not shy about showing their coldness, even in the pictures :)
But I also got to see some old friends from high school- hi Natasha and Kohn!
Levi made himself at home, as usual.
Yay for a few days of seeing friends from afar!
Next was Thanksgiving, which turned out to be rather different this year.
We ended up going out to Golden Corral because our whole family had either come down with or was starting to come down with the stomach flu.
However, I did find it in me to make cinnamon rolls for brunch to hold everyone over til dinner!
Come rain or shine, black friday must go on!
Pay no attention to the sleep-deprived and unshowered me... but look who we found at home depot in the wee hours of the morning!
The next couple weeks were spend recovering from all the sickness, putting up Chrsitmas and getting ready for Nathan's brithday and baptism!!!! Yea!
Tree, lights, 9 ft inflatable Santa and 6 ft snowman (yep, those are this year's new additions!) snow village, stockings, candles, nativity... check!
Bring on December!
