Our friends from Texas came up through our neck of the woods for the holidays, so we went to see them! Always fun in the Larsen back yard!
We did our personal firework extravaganza on the 3rd in front of our house so that we could enjoy the big show on the 4th and not cram too much into one night.
The kids always love this part of the holiday!
It was a lot to keep track of 7 kids and all the fireworks, so I didn't take many pictures or videos...but I'm pleased to say we all survived and even avoided any maming.
Our neighbors came out to join the party and their daughter was an instant favorite amongst all the kids..especially when the big, loud ones came out!
The kids all got on their red, white and blue for the big day!
Nathan got to lead the flag ceremony that day, they had tons of great food and games and a huge turn-out!
We met up with family for the big show in Broomfield, and they were all looking so festive!
It was a great day to throw a frisby, blow some bubbles and enjoy the day while we held our front and center spot for the show.
The show, as always, was spectacular. We all loved it! Jason even filmed it from above using his drone, which made everyone around us pretty interested in what he was doing- but the footage is awesome!
I can't figure out how to embed his video, but here is a link to it on youtube :)
And here is a compilation of all of the rest of our Independence day. Enjoy!
