Zoo lights!

So, my main gift to Jeremy this year was a special calendar with pockets placed on each Fri/Sat for the first 3 months of 2015, each containing a pre-paid date and cash set aside for a sitter.

Many of the dates are reminiscent of our favorite or significant dates from the past several years.

Our first date was to Zoo Lights!

It was our 2nd date, 8 years ago, and we have not been back since!

It was also the first time he told me he loved me (yep, second date!)

It was so fun to go back!

I didn't even bring my camera because I wanted it to be a real date, not a photo op... but we took a few photos with Jeremy's phone, which was fun!

The mugs we are holding had delicious Starbucks Hot Chocolate in them and came with the pre-paid special I had bought back before Zoo Lights even opened. It also came with the awesome glasses we are wearing :)

The displays were truly awesome. This one was my favorite... it really did look like we were under the ocean the way they did the lights and sounds! So fun!

These last couple shots were taken with our glasses over the lense to try and show the snowflake shape that they turned the lights into.

Doesn't do it justice, but super cool none the less.

For perspective, the purple arches at the bottom of the picture were over the main walkway and were about 7 ft tall and 4 ft across! The trees and light displays were enormous and breathtaking.

Great date and a great memory (twice now!). I can't wait for the weekend every week now!
