Father's Day Weekend

We celebrated Father's Day mostly on Saturday this year. We started out the day nice and early because Remax was offering our neighborhood free hot air balloon rides from 6am-8am that day.

It was roughly reminiscent of a Disneyland ride in that we waited in line for over and hour and a half for a couple minutes up in the balloon. Thankfully, the line ran along side the park so the kids did remarkable well.

It also helped that Jason and Jeremy made a donut run :)

Jason and Rasy went before us, so we got to wave to them from just below.

When we got up there, Jeremy was holding Hannah so she could see over the edge, but she thought he was feeding her to the flaming torch above our heads! Poor girl panicked when he fired it up and she felt the wave of heat from directly above her :)

After our early morning expedition in the balloon we went home and took naps :)
When we got up we did our traditional rocket launch followed by a BBQ with Ken and the Baldwin kids.

We are getting pretty good at the rocketing thing, though! We brought 6 rockets, and returned home with 6 functional rockets, all of which got at least one successful launch and retrieval.

Everybody took turns launching the rockets :)

And chasing the rockets :)

Last, but not least, here's a little taste of the launching excitement:

The weather was lovely, the company was grand, and as always it was so fun to let the boys be boys and enjoy their Father's Day!

I feel so blessed to have such a fabulous father, husband, and father-in-law in my life. I am surrounded by great men and hope they all are celebrated as they deserve to be for Father's Day!
