Since Cathy was out of town (doing her open dive to get her scuba certification!) We celebrated the following weekend, which also happened to be Easter Sunday.
Birthday celebrating was first... and Ken did a great job making everything diving themed to go with her recent certification as well as her upcoming Caribbean Cruise!
Jamie and Rasy took lots of extra effort to put all these little fish confetti on the sides of the cake!
Here's a better view of the whole table.
And yes, we put all her candles on the cake!
They had to be so close together in order to fit them all on there that the flames started to merge and make a giant flame!
Time to try and blow all these out!
... second breath's a charm?
Fun with blue frosting kisses :)
Here's Nathan looking too cool with his blue lips!
Now on to Easter fun!
I brought our pink bunny ears and both the babies took turns looking adorable in them!
Grandpa was giving out sneak tastes of jelly beans while stuffing eggs :)
Here's the best shot I could manage of my 4 kiddos in the wind and sun, trying to reign in the excitement!
Love this chubby bunny!
We lined up the kiddos before sending them loose to find their eggs in the yard...
Ready- set- GO!
And they're off!
Here's a little footage of the fun, Enjoy!
Kayla (like Dallin) slept through the kiddo egg hunt, but when she got up she found some eggs of her own!
On Monday we did our Easter baskets for FHE. Dallin went first and all the big kids wanted to watch as he explored his first Easter basket.
He did not dissappoint! Big smiles all around and LOTS of love for this pinwheel!
and his new froggy :)
Here's Hannah with her basket of loot!
Levi was pretty stoked about his prizes as well!
Nathan was more contained, but still very happy to see a game of travel chess in his bucket!
We went outside so Dallin could enjoy his tasty treats without making the house and it's contents sticky :)
We have a fan of Reese Pieces!
Pardon the crazy hair... we did hair cuts within a few days of this because of these pictures!
The Easter chess face-off begins!
Here's a more lengthy video of spliced footage. I love to hear them talking and see their personalities. They change so fast!
