When it rains it pours!

Well, while we were in Denver is when I started feeling tired and sick thanks to baby on board- and in the car on the way home we got a call from the realtor selling the house we are staging that they sold it and would be closing in less than 30 days!  SO, on the way home we discussed options.  We looked into buying a home that we could turn into a rental property upon leaving Oklahoma, whenever that will be.  After an aggressive week of looking, we decided that option could work if we had enough time to really hunt down a great deal on a house, but 30 days wasn't going to cut it!  So, we moved to looking again at rentals.  We found one, and moved in 2 weeks later!  We are just now finishing the unpacking, so the pics I have are of it empty, but you can start to get an idea of the layout as it sits now in the Easter videos :)  I will take pics this week and post them of the house, but here is what I have for now!

This is the front of the house, and our lovely popcorn tree!

This is the view from the front door into the dining room/family room area- you can see the kitchen in the back.

This is looking into the family room from the dining room- the wood around the fireplace is now white like the rest of the molding :)

This is the laundry room, opposite the appliances, which also have cabinets above them.

This is our master closet!!!! Yep, it has a window that opens and everything!  So, meet our closet/nursery :)

Since we lost our play room, and there is tons of storage in the house as well as on that ledge at the front of the garage, we asked if they could leave some of the carpet they just tore out to put in the wood- the carpet and pad are in the 3rd car garage and will double as our make-shift playroom.  Luckily, the garage is fully insulated and has its own thermostat!

The back yard has a patio between the doors in the kitchen and the master as well as another concrete slab that used to house a hot tub- great for chalk drawings!

Sorry that's all I've got for now- more coming soon!
